Overnight camping is not allowed and there are no bathroom facilities, garbage
removal or water. Ample parking is available.
Visit Munising
The Anna River is an excellent area for fishing Lake Trout, Splake, Brown
Trout, Coho Salmon, Northern Pike, Smelt, Yellow Perch, and Whitefish .
In early Spring, the rapidly moving Anna River outlet attracts early season
Northern Pike and Yellow Perch feeding on the arrival of new food resources.

Ice fishing shacks on the bay are slowly disappearing and/or moving closer to the shoreline. Lake ice is going out.
However, the river mouth is very much fishable- if you're willing enough to get out close in waders and spin cast for the ultimate catch,
or fish from the "T" shaped fishing pier. It doesn't get much better than
that.
Either way while fishing you'll encounter ice fishermen all around you and
become most informed about the action swelling around you while wading- or
fishing from the pier.
