5th Annual Grand Marais Offshore Challenge Fishing Tournament
Plans for the 2010 Grand Marais Offshore Challenge are well underway. The Fishing Tournament will take place on June 26 and 27. The guaranteed first place prize is $4000 this year. New rules and registration forms are now available online at www.grandmaraismichigan.com under the events section. You can also register online. Even though it’s only March, registrations are on a first come first serve basis with a maximum number of entries at 30 boats, so get your entry in early.
There will be a Captain’s Dinner again this year on Friday night that will be open to the public. More information on the menu and exact
times will be announced in a few weeks.
A 50/50 raffle will be held throughout the weekend. Ticket sales for this will begin very soon.
Also on tap on Saturday the 26th for the younger fishermen will be the popular Kid’s Fishing Pond. This will be located at the Township Marina. To get more information on this call Ed Bowen at 906-494-2700.
